The Hispanic community in Arizona is the main beneficiary of this fund because of the many challenges that the community have been facing along the border. The Fund was founded by Jim Larkin and Michael Lacey, and has been in operation for over five years.

The Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund focuses on promoting civil rights, human rights, freedom of speech, and civic participation.
